Located on the west coast of Virgin Gorda, Baraka Point Estate is an exclusive private retreat offering tropical seclusion, sandy beaches and panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. The 12,000 sq. ft. villa is set amidst two acres of lush palm gardens on one of Virgin Gorda's most spectacular snorkelling beaches, has a dedicated staff of six and full resort amenities. Promising an unforgettable holiday experience, Baraka Point is RENTED TO ONLY ONE GROUP OF GUESTS at a time and our staff members do not live on the estate in order to assure guests of their privacy.
We have rented villas in other countries, but Baraka Point is incomparable in its attention to detail, its charm, and the unique blending of upscale resort amenities together with the personalized service and privacy offered by a luxury residence.

Baraka Style
Accommodating 16 guests in total, Baraka Point Estate is the perfect private hideaway with a layout that lends itself to hosting large families, groups of friends, corporate retreats, weddings and special celebrations of any kind. Please discuss your group size with us prior to making a booking so that we can advise you about the configuration of suites and the maximum number of adults and children we can sleep. We do not allow children and young teens to sleep in the Games Pavilion unsupervised which sleeps a maximum of two (2) guests, ideally, adults or one adult with a child.
Designed with the most discerning of travellers in mind, Baraka Point captures the colours of the Caribbean and sets them against hard woods, sumptuous handmade silks and ethnic furnishings from Indonesia, India & China to create a unique blend of styles described as Island Exotica by Coastal Living magazine.
A haven of peace and tranquillity, Baraka Point's serpentine path winds through two acres of tropical gardens, out of which rise the villa's distinctive copper-peaked pavilions with five king size ocean view suites plus four small children's bedrooms. A fourth, larger pavilion incorporates the spacious living, dining and entertainment areas of the villa while the Spa and Games Room occupy two further pavilions. The Games Pavilion has a queen size sofa bed and an en-suite bathroom.

Open plan and airy, the colors and furnishings of Main Pavilion are easy on the eyes while sweeping coral stone terraces are soft on the feet. An infinity pool with panoramic views wraps around the main terrace, and a second al fresco dining terrace with a giant shade sail gives sanctuary from the midday sun. Friends and family can meet in the Main Pavilion to share time together or retreat to the privacy of their suite for some down time or a siesta.
Beyond the pool an emerald green lawn leads to a spectacular Seaside Deck sunken into boulders providing guests with an idyllic spot to watch magical BVI sunsets with freshly prepared cocktails and canapés. It's the ultimate chill-out space by the sea...

Baraka Point's Beach Lounge offers guests a giant built-in day bed in which to stretch out and listen to the outdoor music system. Padded loungers and umbrellas as well as a kiddie-friendly tide pool make this the perfect place to spend your days in comfort and seclusion.
For guests who prefer to take their relaxation indoors, Baraka Point's new water front Games Pavilion has a full sized pool table, movie theatre & stocked honesty bar. A roof terrace overlooks the beach and provides an ideal location for a house party or an intimate wedding celebration. This building also has conference facilities and can be used for corporate retreats.
Relaxation and personalized service are hallmarks of the Baraka Point Experience. Baraka Point's international chefs spend their time preparing a variety of dishes through-out your stay so that you don't have to! Our chefs can cook to order, suggest a daily menu or surprise you with their creations. For those who like to cook the villa's professional kitchen features a full complement of dinnerware, glassware and stainless steel appliances. An Italian wood burning pizza oven and built-in outdoor kitchen with professional BBQ plus a well-stocked wine cellar are some of the special features that will appeal to gourmands. Please see the Dining section of our website for more information on the many dining experiences available at Baraka Point as well as some sample dishes to give you a flavour of what is in store for you.
There is plenty of day time diversity at Baraka Point with something for everyone to do. Days can be geared toward water sports, sun-tanning or pampering spa treatments in our Spa & Wellness Pavilion. Have Kim, our house co-manager and spa therapist, soothe your senses with island-inspired spa treatments including body wraps, massage & facials or relax with a sunset yoga session on the beach.
For those wanting to work off the excesses of Baraka Point's delectable cuisine there is a well-equipped fitness studio with outdoor covered exercise deck and one-on-one personal training is available by appointment.
Baraka Point offers in-house water sports such as wake-boarding, water-skiing, tubing, Hobie catamaran sailing, kayaking & snorkeling and our sea trampoline is very popular with older children and teens. On land there is a tennis court nearby, Adventure Programs including guided hiking, bird-watching and star-gazing to name but a few.
For more "Off Beach" fun, take on your companions at a game of billiards in our waterfront Games Pavilion overlooking the beach. Here you will also find a fully stocked wet bar and Alex, our very able butler/bartender at work mixing sunset cocktails. If you need a break from the sun Baraka Point's home movie theatre has over 150 films--stretch out on the sofas with some signature Baraka Point popcorn and accompany James Bond on the Caribbean leg of one of his high octane spy adventures...
Off-site activities such as diving, windsurfing and deep-sea fishing can be arranged by our concierge, while the adventurous can try bouldering, kite-boarding and para-gliding. Go island-hopping by Sunseeker, listen to live steel pan music, snorkel the Baths, and visit sugar mill ruins and the old copper mine on the wind-swept Atlantic side of the island for a glimpse into Virgin Gorda's past. Just be sure to be back in time for sunset at Baraka Point...
