Tommy Nolan - Chef
Padmonie Ramcharran - Housekeeper
Padmonie (Pad) is Baraka Point's housekeeper extraordinaire! Pad has been with Baraka Point for over ten years and is responsible for keeping the villa's interiors in tip top shape, the suites freshened up every morning, and your belongings folded and packed into organized bundles that are amazing to behold. Coming all the way from Guyana, Pad has a kind heart, is wonderful with kids, and quite arguably makes the best Dahl Purr in the BVIs! If you like West Indian cuisine she would be pleased to cook some of her specialities for you. Feel free to ask Padmonie if you need any personal laundry done, she is only too happy to help in any way she can.
Reynaldo Hugo - Carpenter
Reynaldo (Rey) will be seen from time to time up around the top of the property. His job is to keep the Iroko timber around Baraka Point in excellent condition. Rey is a genius with wood, creating anything from hand carvings to cabinetry. Rey comes from the Philippines and has been on Virgin Gorda longer than any other team member, a total of 28 years. Rey's great sporting passions are fishing, basketball and his native boxing hero Mani Paquio.
Marcel Lucie - Gardener
In charge of our lush grounds, Marcel joined our team just after Hurricane Irma completely destroyed the gardens. Originally from St Lucia, Marcel is single-handedly responsible for restoring Baraka's tropical oasis to its current unbelievable beauty. Marcel truly enjoys the time he spends in the garden and is especially fond of the vegetable and herb gardens we keep here to use in our cooking. If you want some fresh coconut water, let us know and we'll get Marcel to crack one open for you. Oh, and be sure to thank him for his part in Pizza and Bonfire Night - he cuts the wood!
